What is the School Games?

The School Games is a programme which puts physical activity and school sport at the heart of schools, providing young people with the opportunity to learn through physical activity and competition to achieve their personal best.

The School Games aims to:

• Make a positive difference in young lives
• Put sport and activity at the heart of schools
• Let young people learn, compete, and do their best.

Trusted Sports Alliance manage 3 School Games areas across Shropshire (East, South and Central Shropshire), providing support and opportunities to over 100 primary and secondary schools.

The School Games Organisers (SGO’s) are as follows:

East Shropshire – Chris Jew/Ben Bennett (Asst. SGO) based at Oldbury Wells School, Bridgnorth

South Shropshire – Lyndsey Dillon based at Church Stretton School

Central Shropshire – Gareth Nagy based at Meole Brace School
